Our History
“I will make Kith & Kin an Eternal Excellence, A Joy of all Generations” was the promise received and has been the motivating factor for impacting lives and producing excellence results annually with a well-positioned alumni network of our students around the globe. Schools under KKES are:
- Kith & Kin Nursery and Primary Schools (KKNPS)- The nursery & primary arm of KKES was established on the 17th July 1997, the school started with a population of (19) nineteen pupils, (5) teachers and the first head Teacher was Mrs. Atilola Folusho (1998 - 2001). The population of the school as at September 2024 about 300 pupils. The school has a track record of producing excellent performance in CAS – Continuous Assessment Scores and Entrance Examinations into College.
- Kith & Kin International College (KKIC) – The secondary arm of KKES was established on September, 2001. The school started with 17 students, 7 teachers, and the Principal - Mrs. Atilola Folusho (2001). The population of the school as at September 2024 about 500 students. The school has a track record of producing excellent results in WASSCE & NECO, BECE & JUNIOR NECO examinations.
- Kith & Kin Montessori School (KKMS) – The Montessori arm of KKES was established in 2011 with 8 pioneer pupils, 5 teachers and the head Teacher - Mrs. Aladesuyi Omolola 2011 – 2017. The population of the school as at September 2024 about 250 pupils. The school has a track record of producing excellent performance in CAS – Continuous Assessment Scores and Entrance Examinations into College.
- Kith & Kin British Academy (KKBA) – KKES was officially certified by the British council on June 2023 and this has given us the opportunity to build capacity and leveraging on our experiences, KKBA was established on 9th September 2024 with 7 pioneer students, 6 teachers and the pioneer Principal – Mr. Rahman Bello to offer courses like IGSCE, SAT, and TOEFL.
- KKES CBT CENTRE – with technology drive in education, KKES introduced the use of CBT software for internal examination January 2016 for senior students to teach students time management in preparation for the Joint Matriculation Board examination (JAMB). KKES CBT Centre will be commissioned in February 2025 for Computer-based Examinations such as JAMB, ICAN etc.

We understand that we are accountable to all stakeholders, including the government, external examiners, parents, learners, and our immediate community. However, we believe that our accountability to parents is more critical since they have entrusted their children to us to educate, nurture, and help them acquire useful skills for success in life.
As educators, we share the responsibility with parents to provide education as a social service that is affordable, available, and inclusive. We believe that investing in our children today is the best way to build a better tomorrow.
We also recognize the importance of lifelong learning, which is a critical skill for continuous self-education in any area of interest. We believe that to stop learning is the beginning of the mental, spiritual, and physical decline and ultimate death.
Integrity is the most defined corporate value. It is synonymous with leadership attributes such as simplicity, sincerity of heart and intention, uprightness, transparency, genuineness, and being fundamentally true to words professed. In Kith & Kin ES, we walk the talk.
Lastly, we have absolute faith in God, and we believe that every human being is created to fulfill a purpose in life. Therefore, we invoke the spirit of God for guidance before, during, and after all our efforts at educating the children.
