KithandKin Nursery and Primary School Promotes Learning Through Play, Holds Fun & Games Day

Kith and Kin Nursery and Primary School has reaffirmed its commitment to holistic education as it hosted a vibrant Fun & Games Day aimed at promoting learning through play.

The colourful event, held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the school Excellence Hall, brought together pupils, parents, teachers, and management in a lively atmosphere filled with excitement, laughter, and engaging activities.

The pupils showcased a variety of interactive games designed to enhance their knowledge, boost confidence, and develop essential life skills. The event demonstrated how play-based learning can foster teamwork, creativity, sportsmanship, and happiness among children.

Speaking at the event, the Head teacher, Mr Ezekiel Olaniyi, emphasized the importance of balancing academics with recreational activities.

Olaniyi said, “At Kith and Kin Nursery and Primary School, we strongly believe that learning becomes more meaningful and impactful when it is engaging and enjoyable. Our Fun & Games Day is a clear demonstration that education and play can work hand in hand to nurture confident, creative, and well-rounded children.”

In another remark, the Headteacher added, “Today’s activities have shown that beyond the classroom walls, our pupils are developing vital life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. We remain committed to providing an enabling environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.”

The school management expressed appreciation to parents and guardians for their unwavering support noting that their encouragement significantly contributed to the success of the event. Staff members were also commended for their dedication and professionalism in organizing the programme.
