Lagos Fire Service Educates KKMS, KKBA Students on Fire Safety

Officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service paid an educational visit to students of Kith & Kin British Academy and Kith & Kin Montessori School, where they conducted an interactive session on fire safety and emergency response.

During the enlightening programme, students were taught the meaning of fire, its importance in everyday life, and both its positive and negative effects. The fire officers also highlighted common causes of fire outbreaks, preventive measures, and effective methods of extinguishing fires.

The session further equipped students with practical knowledge on how to respond during fire emergencies, including raising an alarm, evacuating safely, and contacting emergency services promptly.

The initiative significantly enhanced the students' awareness, safety consciousness, and preparedness for fire-related emergencies, reinforcing the importance of safety education in schools.
